The LF‑134‑SER‑MINI complements Fabmatics’ existing identification portfolio with an exceptionally compact LF RFID read/write device. Thanks to its broad software compatibility with previous LF‑134‑SER reader generations, the device supports the expansion and stepwise automation of existing production equipment. With this addition, Fabmatics further strengthens its position as an experienced provider of RFID identification solutions for 150 mm, 200 mm, and 300 mm semiconductor fabs.

Technical Design for Reliable 134.2 kHz Identification in Minimal Space

The ultra‑compact LF RFID reader operates in the LF frequency range at 134.2 kHz and supports ISO 11784/785‑compliant HDX and FSK transponders as well as TIRIS‑compatible read/write transponders. With dimensions of 71 × 60.4 × 20.8 mm (2.795 × 2.378 × 0.819 in), the device is approximately five times smaller than conventional serial LF readers.

The serial RS232 interface enables direct connection to production equipment and automation systems. A robust aluminum housing ensures mechanical stability in the industrial fab environment. For installation and maintenance, an integrated test button allows quick on-site functional testing of the reader.
