High-performing factory automation for the semiconductor industry “made in Saxony”
The heart of the European semiconductor industry beats in Silicon Saxony. Fabmatics is part of it and, as Kathrin Kammer says in the video linked below, “we think that’s pretty cool”.
Background: Fabmatics was chosen to be part of the scale-up campaign of futureSAX – the Innovation Plattform of the Free State of Saxony, and was presented in this context as one of four fast-growing, medium-sized companies. The result is a film that shows in an entertaining way which decisions were made by the players, when and how, and who the people behind these Saxon success stories are.
Growth: Based in Saxony, we have been able to establish ourselves as an internationally active specialist for automation in the semiconductor industry in recent years. Together with our subsidiary in the USA, we now generate an annual turnover of around EUR 50 million. With SCIO Automation GmbH, Fabmatics has also had a new, strong investor at its side since the beginning of the year, who is supporting us in successfully continuing along this path.
We are proud of our now 300-strong team, which has made this development possible and gives its best for our customers every day according to the motto: “There’s no such thing as can’t”.
