Integration of SCI’s Business into Fabmatics GmbH

Stronger Together for Semiconductor Factory Automation

Effective November 1, 2026, the employees, expertise, and business activities of SCI GmbH will be integrated into Fabmatics GmbH. Going forward, the capabilities of both companies will be brought together under the Fabmatics umbrella and brand. The integration builds on the close collaboration between SCI and Fabmatics over the past several years within the Cleanroom Technologies segment of the SCIO Automation Group.

The integration will create an even broader range of solutions for semiconductor factory automation. Combined expertise, an expanded portfolio, and additional engineering, manufacturing, and service capabilities will enable us to provide customers with more comprehensive support from a single source.

For our customers, suppliers, and business partners, our key priorities are continuity, reliability, and a transparent transition. The integration will take place step by step to ensure that existing business relationships and ongoing activities can continue smoothly.

▶ We Are Continuing Our Operations in Osterhofen

The Osterhofen location will remain in operation and will continue as a Fabmatics GmbH site. The teams, expertise, and existing infrastructure in Osterhofen will therefore remain an integral part of our organization.

▶ We Will Reliably Continue Ongoing Business Activities

Ongoing customer projects will continue as agreed. Existing purchase orders and business transactions will be processed in accordance with the respective agreements.

▶ We Are Managing the Transition Step by Step

SCI GmbH will continue to exist as a legal entity during a transition period. This allows us to complete ongoing business transactions and projects in an orderly manner or gradually transition them to Fabmatics GmbH

  • Other communication channels and materials, including email addresses, signatures, and documentation, will transition gradually. We will inform you of any relevant changes in good time

  • Please add Fabmatics GmbH as an additional business partner in your system if no corresponding record currently exists.
  • Please keep your existing SCI GmbH record active until further notice.
  • For existing purchase orders and business transactions, please continue to follow the company details and order information specified in the respective documents. The company named on the applicable purchase order remains controlling for delivery, performance, and invoicing.
  • Please do not independently transfer or change existing SCI transactions to Fabmatics.
