These are your tasks:

  • Product Support in Customer Service
  • Interface between service and development
  • Overview of the products and features and their optimal use by the customer
  • Installation and testing of software packages for customer projects in cooperation with the engineering department
  • Contact person for the customer in case of ideas, adjustments or problems with the products
  • Supporting the definition of new features for our products based on customer requirements in consultation with the engineering department
  • Organization and execution of update rollouts on existing systems
  • Documentation of the work performed
  • Support of the service team on site (maintenance of systems, execution and inspection of electrical installations)
  • Carrying out measurements as well as fault diagnosis and troubleshooting

These are your qualifications:

  • Completed university degree (University / University of Applied Sciences) or comparable technical education, preferably in one of the following fields:
    • Electrical engineering, automation technology, communication technology or mechatronics
  • Knowledge of electronics for automation technology
  • Experience in the following areas advantageous:
    • In a scripting language (Python or similar)
    • Programming experience in a high-level language (e.g. C++, Java)
    • Hardware-related programming (Twincat, S7)
  • Confident reading and understanding of circuit diagrams and technical drawings
  • Good written and spoken German and English language skills
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
  • Open and communicative personality with high customer orientation and very good technical understanding
