Safety Expert – Machine Safety & Conformity (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- evaluating and responding to our customers’ requirements specifications.
- deciding on the conformity of engineering solutions with regard to relevant standards and safety requirements
- participate in the design, construction, installation, commissioning and certification of both new machine types and the implementation of new standards in existing products
- integration of guidelines and standards into the entire development and delivery cycle of our equipment
- control and continuous optimization regarding cost structures and delivery times of our products
Your profile:
- successful completion of university studies (University/UAS) or comparable technical education, preferably in one of the following fields: electrical engineering, automation technology, communication technology or mechatronics
- professional experience in the areas of:
- Risk assessment according to EN ISO 12100
- Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU
- further relevant norms and standards of machine safety
- selection of performance levels and/or SIL levels
- knowledge and experience of working in clean rooms or similar areas in related industries (e.g. pharmaceuticals, medical technology, microelectronics) is beneficial
- knowledge and experience in using risk assessment software (Safexpert preferred), CAD software (Creo Parametrics or WSCAD Suite preferred), ERP software and MS-Office
- good communication skills
- commitment, initiative, creativity, independence and team spirit
- reliability, assertiveness and decisiveness
- fluent in written and spoken German
- business fluent English, both written and spoken
